Personal Finance is a program with many parts, each one helps you to better handle your money.

It allows you to take care of revenues and expenditures, securities portfolio, budget calculations, currencies, financial calculations.

* Revenue & Expenditures
This part of the software is used to store incoming and outgoing cash records, (income and expenses), from your accounts, bank accounts, etc...
Drawn checks can be registered and printed on preprinted checks.
It is easy to import data from your on-line Bank account and keep your file always up to date.
The monthly Trend per Category shows a table with the month-by-month balance of income and expenses for each category.
Thanks to the budget’s variance you can see the final total, the estimated budget, and variance for each category and subcategory.
You can do a year by year comparison.
Choosing Check the end of month deposits will show a histogram with the end of month availability; it can be global, in every account or in a specific account.
There are pie charts to illustrate income, expenses, monthly and annual trend, monthly and annual income.
Remaining Credit in the Credit Cards displays a window in which you can see the granted credit and the remainder of the month for each credit card and global.

* Budget
The budget part of the software allows you to enter the annual estimates of income and expenses for each distinct category-subcategory pair.

* Securities portfolio
The securities portfolio is used to store all the securities in your possession; for each of them you can record purchases, sales, price changes, producing a graph with their trend.
The list of the securities shows, in the value column, the value of each at the most recent price, as you entered in its input form.

* Currencies
The currencies you add to this table can be used in the Revenue & Expenditure and in the Securities portfolio records.
When you set a currency in a Revenue & Expenditure record or in the input form of a security, Personal Finance copies, in the proper field, the current exchange rate and calculates the amount in the basic currency.

* Financial Calculations
In this part of the program you can perform a number of different financial calculations.

Simple Interest - This panel is used to calculate the interest and the final value of a given principal that a certain annual rate of interest is applied to for a given time in months and days.
You can calculate: the principal (discounted value), the interest rate, the time.

Compound Interest - The interest is calculated at the end of each period of time and capitalized, added to the initial principal. In the next period of time the interest will be calculated on the new principal, including the interest of the preceding period.
You can calculate: the principal, the interest rate, the time.

Periodic Deposits - In this panel is supposed to make a number of periodic deposits (monthly, yearly, etc..), in advance or deferred, of the same amount; given a certain rate of interest referred to the period, you can calculate the accumulated amount after your last deposit.
You can calculate: the amount of each deposit, the number of deposits, the interest rate.

Financing - This panel is used to calculate, from a financed amount, the number of installments and the yearly rate, the installment amount and the amount to pay back.
The calculations assume that each installment is paid at the end of each period (month, year, etc...)
You can also calculate:
• the number of installments, given the financed amount, the rate of interest and the amount of each installment;
• the annual interest rate, given the financed amount, the number of installments and the amount of each installment.
